I am a freelance lighting designer based out of Orono, Maine. I graduated from The University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a BFA in lighting design and technology. I am currently the Scene Shop and Lighting Supervisor for the University of Maine Division of Theater and Dance as well as the resident dance lighting designer.

My previous experience taking dance lessons from the age of four to nineteen has instilled a love of dance and movement from an early age. But, my interest in lighting design does not stop there. I am continually fascinated by all things lighting. From collaborating on new works to re-envisioning the classics.

My ultimate goal is to be an excellent collaborator. I fully believe in the notion that theatrical art is always better than the sum of it’s parts. Collaboration is the ultimate key to bringing any performance to life. From bringing the directors vision to life to making sure costumes and scenery are being represented in the most complimentary way I strive to have as much artistic integrity I can.
